Biography

Hailing from Austin, TX, chaos-grind machines THUMBSCREW formed in early 2001. The band toured relentlessly and wrote for their debut album "All is Quiet" released on Counterintelligence Recordsings (KILL THE CLIENT, PARALLAX) in 2004.

After gaining underground buzz from their debut, the band continuted touring and writing for their next release.

THUMBSCREW then released "Within Hearts of Redemption" or W.H.O.R.E. on June 20, 2006 with Imagine It Records (PARIA, THE BINDING). "Within Hearts..." was recorded with Josh Wardrip (AT ALL COST) at Orphic Studios.

Today THUMSBCREW continues to tour with such bands as ION DISSONANCE, JOB FOR A COWBOY, ANIMOSTIY, THE HANDSHAKE MURDERS, GAZA, THE_NETWORK, SWORN ENEMY and even SIX FEET UNDER.
