Back When Celebration of Alceste CD / (2003) / Imagine It Records In stock Price: $5.00 Comprised of former and current members of STATISTICS, EXAMINATION OF THE... and PLOSION. Mid-west technical wizardry at it's finest, and this is the band's debut! Six relentless tracks of chaotic heaviness blasting and screeching it's way around spiraling guitars that lead into absolutely punishing breakdowns. Weird little jazzy interludes keep this extra-interesting, but overall this is just pure genre-blending brutality. An excellent debut and highly recommended for fans of anything complicated, technical and weirdly pummeling. This is the bands debut before releasing multiple 7 inch records with Init Records, a full-length album entitled "We Sang As Ghosts" (Shockvalue) in 2005 and most recently, a discography CD entitled "In The Presence" (Init) in 2006.

The Autumn Project La Luna de Negra CD / (2004) / Zu Records In stock Price: $8.00 60+ minutes of beautifully dark instrumental post-rock. "The Autumn Project play slow, unearthly, instrumental music that is as times so lush you forget they are but three people armed with guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. They start each song minimally, then build gradually into walloping crescendos and finish by tapering back down. This is emotional music that puts into a trance with visions of Arctic floes and glacial movements. The songs are basically untitled, as they are only listed by track number. The creepy "Six" contains samples of people talking about the Book of Revelations and burning rock n' roll records, which is blasphemy for those of us who attend the church of Rock 'n Roll." -Punk Planet Magazine.
